Traditional Christmas costumes!

Winter Wonderland

19-12-2011

Last week Pupils at Edmund Waller School in New Cross marked the end of term by coming into school dressed up as winter themed characters.  The dress-up day was also an opportunity to raise money for charity.

Fundraising was organised by the school council, made up of pupils from each class.  Each pupil that came to school in costume was asked to contribute 50 pence, raising a total of £86.15 for emerge poverty free.

Now we might have to admit to a bit of insider help here as one of the school councillors is the son of Jeremy Horner, our Assistant Director.  Simeon is pictured here in his snowboarder outfit together with his brother Luke as a shepherd.

Well done to all the pupils at Edmund Waller!
